Clutch is hands down my favorite band! Has been since I was about 14. I never tire of them and they continuously freshen their style on each successive album. Well I have seen them a few times and really enjoyed their shows. A couple of weeks ago I went to Salt Lake to catch a show and saw Neil running around before they opened the doors. I asked him if he had time for a quick pic and this is what I got out of the deal. Sorry for the quality. There were no cameras allowed so I had to use my cellphone. BTW he has a cool speaking voice not just a singing voice. THe show was the best I have seen. No harmonica or organ player or guest guitarists. They all got the boot for this tour. Just the original four members. It was great! Alot of old songs from Elephant Riders and their self titled album. Awesome! |

I like Clutch. I have Elephant Riders. I am learning to appreciate them more and more, even if they are not my immediate go-to group for musical thrills. They kind of remind me of Paw in a way. Paw is one of my all time favorites. The difference between Paw and Clutch however, is that Clutch is still around. |

Thanks jerk wad. I was hoping you had some new quiet clutched cooling fan that was good for 100,000 miles. |

I would love a quiet fan for my XB but since I get jumped on whenever I ask for a solution I will take solace in Clutch music. I think it is something about me not appreciating the loud soul of my Buell. Johnny, I think Blast Tyrant is a good gateway Clutch cd. If you don't have it get it! All songs are greatest hits material. I promise you! |

I saw them in Boston a few weeks ago. Man they ROCK!!! I was able to get my camera into the show and snap some great pictures. There were warning signs everywhere about NO CAMERAS because of the band's request. Sorry Clutch but I got in with it and I was using it. I have the pictures on my home computer, I'm in California right now on business. I'll post pictures when I get home if this thread is still alive. |

I didn't discover Clutch until their most recent album came out - the one Dave posted above. The Electric Worry/One Eye Dollar combo is one my favorite songs. Then I came to find out that I really liked the whole album - it has a real bluesy sound to it. Are their previous releases similar? I can't I've heard anything else from them that I would have known... |

I first saw Clutch while opening for Marilyn Manson. Would not even be in the same building as them, but they rocked. Been a huge fan ever since! Elephant Riders is a bad azz album! |

They get heavier as you go in reverse through their albums. No they do not get air play which is one of the reasons they are so good! They don't cater to the top 40 sound. Every badwebber should own some Clutch albums. Tom, Red Horse Rainbow is a great song! Your son has good taste in music. |

I sampled some Clutch, pretty good if that's your bag. Guess I'm getting old, don't think I would beat feet to the music store to grab their catalog. But I wouldn't change the station if a tune of their's came on the radio either... |

Thanks! clutch is mandatory music when we are in my truck on a long drive. He also likes "careful with that mic" and tries to rap as fast as the song, which he can't. it is halarious. |

I have heard Clutch a few times on XM (48 - Squizz), can't say i like them. Now that i think about it, it was some song they were speaking in binary (10001110101). Perhaps next time something better will get air time. |

I dig Clutch as well. Any of you guys like CKY, Transplants, or Fu Manchu? |

If you like CKY and Clutch then look up "The Company Band." I know they are on iTunes but the album is hard to come by in record shops. Jess Margera on drums with Neil singing. A few other big name guys as well. I am digging it. Company Man and Spellbinder are pretty cool songs. |

THANK YOU for this thread. I had never even heard of Clutch, but I am now a fan. I have spent the past hour listening to their music and I like it a lot. So far Electric Worry is my favorite but I like just about everything I have listened to. |

Glad you like them Speedfreaks! Check out the songs Soapmakers, Careful With That Mic, and Promoter. All are good songs to get into Clutch with. The other guy is the first person I know of to have listened to 100011101 and not liked it. Interesting. |
