Here are the pics: Price is going to be $3500 OBO A trip to the car wash would help it a WHOLE BUNCH. Key is in it, it is from Route 66(key chain). No dash, therefore no mileage. |

Does anyone know of a substitute oil for the transmission on my Buell? Is Harley product the only one out there that will work?Thanks-Lesley |

I usually just run HD primary oil, or sport trans fluid(whatever is in stock). Other companies offer primary oil, besides HD. I would avoid a super duper synthetic, sometimes it is too good, and will make your clutch slip. I have heard of people using heavier oil like 50 or 60W in the trans, but, it can cause enough windage to mess with you stator & rotor, dislodging the magnets. Why do you ask? |

Jason, Thanks for the info. I was planning on doing the fluid changes myself this time. I was just wondering if there was something besides Harley product. I appreciate the helpful info.Peace and Grease,Lesley |

You can pick other brands at shops here in Tulsa like Jack's on Admiral or I am sure the guys at Tulsa Cycle Supply on Pine have some Repsol or something similar to offer, as would Cycle Gear on 41st. Have a good one! |

Hi everyone. I'm being transferred to Tinker AFB in October and am looking in advance for fellow Buellers. I'm looking for a house in Del City at the moment, but anything semi-close to the base will do. If you're in the area shoot me a PM or email. I'll be at homecoming in July as well. Anyone going? - Phillip |

Spotted! Yes you on the STT heading East on 11 between Tulsa and Broken Aero yesterday. I was so hoping to have a Buell Siting yesterday. Thank you for giving me that. I stopped and asked several ricers and baggers alike and not one had seen a Buell and many thought I asked if they saw any "Mule's" Strange place you folks live in around here!

Hey Melvin, Yeah, there are not a whole lot of Buells around here. But I am starting to see more and more. I am guessing you were just passing through? |

Phillip, I am planning on going to Homecoming as well. Keep in mind: The real good riding around here is in NE Oklahoma and most of Arkansas...about an hour east of Tulsa. Lots of hills and curves! |

Yeah Dtx, I was working in Wichita and decided to drive down to visit some relatives in Broken Arrow. I travel a lot for work and every where I go I keep an eye out. I'm in Berlin this week and I've seen 3 today already. (And it's only my first day!) Actually, I've seen more Buells then Busas today! (And that's a first!) |

Anyone looking for a bike for the woman to learn to ride on? Or, maybe for that deserving teen? I picked up a slick Honda Rebel, 2005 with only 661 miles! I listed it for sale for $2000 OBO, but, I'd make someone a better deal, being Buellers and all. Disregard, just sold it. (Message edited by medic352 on June 10, 2008) |

Eric, Smoke/Tim ended up with it, destined to be a track back from here on out! How are you doin'? The bike looked like you were trying to cut hay with it or landed in a corn field? Tim, I'll box up the front fairing and windshield and send 'em to ya', might as well put them to use! |

Andrew, Well I do not know if I will make the rally. You know, I am just hoping for some riding weather now.Apparently it is gonna rain until the cows come home.Actually, it was one year ago yesterday I got my bike. The next day it started raining and didn't let up for like a week.So at this point I am happy with any dry pavement.I hope everyone has a good weekend.Peace and Grease! Rex here. Part of ASBN (http://www.americansportbikenight.net) I live in Arizona now, but grew up in Miami Oklahoma. I will be going to the Homecoming also, but having to fly in. I have a Buell S1 in Miami at my house. There is a cool motorcycle museum in Miami. Route 66. Downtown Miami. Lots of cool triumphs, etc. Might be worth a ride from Tulsa sometime for you guys. I will be in Miami July 12 and 13th. REX |
