Anyone know of someone here selling these cables with the right connecter ends all set up to work with windows and the Buell connecter?

Either for usb or the older serial connecters or both?

I had thought there were a couple here that were making these up?

I got hit by a little old lady who broke some of my bones so I'm probably not up to soldering right now, however I can send you a parts kit for the circuit itself (older Palm Universal Connector, that's like the Tungsten T, T2, T3 and C) if you are handy with a soldering iron, just send me a message with your mailing address.

I will send you links to my photo instructions for soldering, and links to suppliers for the plugs. You'll need a shielded cable (I used a USB A-B printer cable) and a small project box you can get at Radio Shack to hold the cicruit board.

The best how-to for installation of the Deutsch plug is in the shop manual. You'll have to dig around and find a cable yourself.

Also you'll need a good Tungsten T3 or C, I am using a C I bought on eBay. I also bought a T3 on eBay but discovered the RS232 pins didn't work.

Eventually we'll get some answers about safely cabling the Palm E2 and TX, and some folks are doing it already regardless of the TTL voltage mismatch, but they are also experiencing noise where 1 in 100 data packets is corrupted and has to be filtered out.

Sorry Hogs, yeah the PC is real easy to hook up. There is an article about the cabling at http://www.ecmspy.com/kabel_pc.shtml and I think most folks just put a Deutsch plug on the end of a FTDI USB cable.

Yeah Firebolt32, it works fine on the cradle, and probably hardly anyone in the world but a Bueller would care if the RS232 pins work, however I'm too clumsy to attempt it. I would probably trash it.
