Since I can't park two bikes in NYC, I can't buy a Uly until the B12 is sold; So I thought I'd post the Bandit here: $2900 Bike is garaged in NYC. Silver '03 Factory naked B1200 (not a converted S) with just under 20,000 miles. Avon Storm tires have less than 300 miles, front and rear. Does not burn oil. Mods: - Yosh RS-1 Stainless slip-on - Busa rear shock - Full set of Galfer stainless brake and clutch lines - Stock seat modified by Sergeant - HoleShot PAIR blocks off plates - Superbike bars - Dual Star Grip Heaters - Blue Sea Auxiliary fuse block - Vista Cruise Universal Throttle lock - Buell turn signals - Cigarette lighter type accessory jack - R&G frame sliders - Wired for Garmin Street Pilot (GPS not included) - Speed Bleeders Have used Mobil 1 15W-50 Extended Performance Full Synthetic with changes every 3000 miles or less since I've had it. I had a low side last summer. The only noticeable visual indication of the low side is a black streak on the left side rear plastic, a couple of scuffs and a small ding in the tank which I honestly didn't notice until months later because it's covered by the tank bra. Other than the rear plastic and the small tank ding, anything that was damaged in the low side was replaced. Bike runs and rides extremely well. No mechanical problems. More pictures upon request. just curious, why did you put a busa shock on this? better handling or stiffer spring rate? or both? Both. Very common, cost effective mod. Brand new take-off Busa shocks can be had for $50 or less. They are physically huge compared to the stock B12 unit. Lot's of info about this mod on Maximum-Suzuki.com. Tipsy |
