Well, I broke down and took her out for the first time today. I was waiting for some more good rains to wash the salt off the roads, but it was too much. I couldnt take it anymore. So, I came home on my lunch break and rode the 11 back to work, then rode it around a bit after work. Around 60 miles total, because it was only about 40 degrees.

This bike is so insanely smooth and easy to ride! The motor is phenomenal, I lofted the front wheel on a couple conservative take-offs. It was easy to stay under 6k rpm, and still have some fun. I never got into the gas hard, or even moderately, but you can definitely feel the potential for some serious power. The slipper clutch makes downshifting so easy. Just downshift, and dump the clutch. No pre-revving needed for smooth downshifts.

The Mirrors really are as bad as people say they are though.

All the guys on the jobsite raved about the bikes looks. A couple werent crazy about the blue frame, but that was the only thing I heard that wasnt positive. It even drew some great compliments on the muffler! A friend of mine saw me on the freeway and gave me a call to tell me he knew it was me on that bike from a mile away, it really stands out.

I got home, and I was feeling a little guilty about leaving the M2 home, so I took her out right after. Also, I wanted to thrash something after being so conservative on the 11. The M2 felt so loud, and shaky, and mad, it was so much fun. I did some intentional front wheel lofts on that bike, and really let that pipe rattle some windows. I still love that bike! Even though it felt so rough and unrefined after the 11, it stirred my soul same as ever.

What a kick ass day.

Side note- Threw the 11 on the battery tender before I left on the M2, it started to charge, but was done by the time I got home a half hour later.

I really love these bikes!

Good story! Believe it or not I have also received some positive compliments on the muffler.

It is the best motorcycle I have ever owned. No regrets!

Yeah those new turn signals suck as mirrors.

I replaced mine with Firebolt mirrors and wired the front signal s to the running lights.

Now I have excellent mirrors and crappy turn signals in front.
I'll take it.
