A couple of weeks ago I changed out the exhaust header, rotated engine etc., now I feel a vibration that wasn't there before. The drive belt has also moved over/out away from stay about 1/8th and was actually rubbing on the belt cover exposing a little cord on the edge.

I followed the manual for the entire procedure, sequence, torque ratings etc. WTF happened ? Any help would be appreciated. Uly is an 07 with 4500 miles.

The idler might be bad. At least that happened to me with my belt.

I have an '06. My belt moved away form the stay (about the same distance) after my 2nd rear tire change by the dealer. I did not however, have any noticeable rubbing or vibrations. I now have over 20K with it like that with no issues.....for what its worth.

Before you go to all that trouble, check the belt itself. Rotate slowly and watch it where it rolls over the idler pully looking for cracks between the teeth.

Mine has done the same thing but not rubbing. It has had several cracks between the teeth and I suspect it's about to give up the ghost. It's probably moving because of uneven stretch due to wear.
I have a new belt ready to go on but just been too busy to do it. I've also been just waiting to see how long it will last in this condition but I don't reccommend this if you're depending on it for transportation.
