a few years ago i considered knife-edging the butterfly in my cv carb on my buell,as this was considered by some an obstruction,i never did it,i got an hsr42 instead(no obstruction at full throttle on that),i have just read an article in streetfighters issue 170(the latest)which rekindled my interest, its about a 1074 katana thats had gsx-r 1000k3 throttle bodies put on,prior to set up the leading edge of the throttle butterflies where knife-edged,at full throttle this should,in theory flow a smidgin better,i wondered if this could be applied to any one with a cv carb/fi on their buell ? any thoughts/comments any one ??? |
