Twisted Throttle was showing a neat set-up at Daytona with the Quick Lock Tank Bag mount with a 12 volt connection to run GPS, radar detector, map or interior bag lights. As far as I know they don't make a Quick Lock mount for the the Ulysses. So while I'm waiting for that, anyone using a Wolfman Enduro or Explorer Lite? |

I have the Explorer Lite - perfect size for what I wanted. Fit is good with the airbox shape too. I connected the back straps (closest to the seat) to two bolts and made a strap to go under the front yoke to secure the front. When no tank bag the back straps are under the seat. I want to ride without the bag and not have any straps hanging about. I will try and get pics out later tonight. |

Nipsy, do you know how the Explorer Lite compares in size to the standard Buell tank bag? |

OK, maybe I can find the dimensions of the Buell bag. BTW, I just got a call from Twisted Throttle who said that a guy on a Buell showed up in Daytona with the Quick Lock Mount bolted thru the top of the airbox cover to a round base plate on the the underside of the cover. The reason the standard Quick Lock setup doesn't work on the Ulysses is that the fuel filler is too far forward and recessed. Twisted Throttle took pictures and measured to see what size bags would fit and should put the info up on their site soon. |

Thanks Nipsey, the map case looks relatively level. |

It is easy to read and really unobtrusive. Also does not need to be moved to fuel up. Looking forward to what you learn on the Quick lock - I don't like straps. |
