Basically all of the XB swing arms will bolt up. However, the newer generation swing arms will require changing the oil lines and one oil line fitting as well. Also, the longer swing arm from the Uly and Long models will require rear shock mount modification to clear the under tray.

I've got an early model XB swingarm that I could be convinced to get rid of.
PM me if you're interested.

There is also the Hals chain conversion swing arm, which lengthens the wheelbase a couple of inches in addtion to allowing the use of chain and various gear ratios.

There is one for sale in the Classified section of this sitel.
There were also a couple of other ones. Ebay is a good source too.

I use one of these swing arms, and I feel it makes a better handling bike, especially for larger riders, and I like being able to change gear ratios.

I have a spare that is almost polished... it's stripped of the powdercoat but needs some tlc to make it look good.

Nope... don't think so. I have a Hals on my racebike.

Hals made a swingarm in their own shop before Buell offered the XBRR through all their dealers.

Before I sound so smug, I have to say that for all I know, Hals actually does now make the XBRR swingarm which is sold by dealers (through Duga) - though I think the Hals swingarm that I have on my bike is better in a few ways than the one on the XBRR.

The XBRR caliper retention does NOT work in reverse. IF the pads are touching the rotor at all and the bike is rolled backwards, the caliper follows the rotor. IF you put it on a streetbike and engage the rear brake - say stopped on an uphill, the bike will roll backwards, rotating the caliper backwards until the brakeline stops it from turning. For a racebike, I suppose this is no biggie. In the Hals swingarm, the caliper pin is totally captured in the swingarm (like the stock swingarm). Small stuff really but that is one difference I can see just looking at the two of them. The pin from the caliper simply rests on top of the swingarm on the RR.

Hals might have changed their design on newer swingarms for sale to Buell - but that is a NICER feature of the Hals.

I haven't heard WHERE Buell gets their XBRR swingarms - could be Hals but there ARE differences and not only nearly 3 inches more wheelbase.
