What is you guys opinion of the paint/no paint on the header wrap. I bought the high temp black paint when I bought the wrap but had not made up my mind yet. I think I like it with none and I asked my wifes opinion and she says it would look better with the black paint. I know the wrap will darken as soon as I ride it the first time to a medium brown as opposed to tan.

What do you guys think?

I just did mine also but I used the black wrap and painted it black. It recommended painting it because it would seal up any porous areas and help seal it. FWIW I would paint it but like Tom said I'd go with something that matches the bike.

It looks pretty damn good white or off-white.

But yea its not gonna match like it does now after the ride, it will be a slightly burnt brown, like toast that's just right.

I have graphite colored black on my xb and its not painted, it bled out the black a little but matches the frame quite nicely.

it does look a little silver in person. maybe try this for next time?

p.s.- sry not a tuber, just wanted to help.
