OCC is the crabby old man tv show. According to their website they will be at the Milwaukee mile starting on the 22nd thru the 31st. |

Wouldn't that be "COM" then instead of "OCC". Or does OCC stand for Old Crusty Codger????? I don't get cable TV. That's probably a good thing. |

You dont know what you are missing Mike, those guys are great. Paul jr has all the ideas & makes some wild ass theme bikes. And the old man spends all his time yelling at everyone. Its actually a pretty cool show. Hell I love that show, Monster Garage & Monster House. Watched a 3 hr marathon of Monster House yesterday. |

Was over at an indirect relative's place a few weeks ago and I think I caught part of that show. The kid stepped on the toes of the assembly guy by test assembling a bike to see what it looked like and the old man jumped all over the kid's case, ripped him up one side and down the other about taking care of other customers and so forth. It's probably a good thing I don't have cable or else I'd be watching too much TV. |

both monster garage and and the OCC show have taught me that if I ever have a bike build from the ground up, and want a bob-job (as opposed to byzebtine rolling scultures that pass as choppers these days), I'll give Exile a call . . . . . James is (on TV, anyone) someone I wouldn't talk to for money, and the OCC people will be charging you money just to sit and rag at each other . . . . |

oh yeah, on a brighter note, you guys at Brew City have an excellent resource in your club . . . .I went for a romp with Nevco yesterday and he showed me the route/s he's palnned for the 20th . . . . .that guy has the Kettle and Holy Hill areas nailed! if Bill ever asks you if you want to go riding with him, there's only one answer . . . . . HELL YEAH! thanks Bill |

If I had the $$$ for a custom built Bike I would contact Billy Lane down at choppers inc in Florida. The guy is down to earth & not full of himself like Jesse is. The OCC guys ham it up for the TV camera is my belief. They build several lines of bikes, not just the freak show theme ones. Its just that the dad bickering & the weird bikes are what sells the show. Who the hell would watch a couple people who got along great & built just perfectly acceptable & normal choppers? |

stop it CJ . . .you're scaring me! Paul jr looks like he'd leave a ring in your tub!!! Lane does some great work, no doubt, but I'm really partial to the up-to-date mechanicals and 60's minimalist style that Exile does . . . . they build equipment you can ride, no ego extensions Dyna, I'm sure you're right about the hamming it up . . . .I watched a few, hoping to learning something about either desgin or fabrication, but you hit the nail on the head with the freak-show comment . . . . .. FUGLY! |

I think its hilarious watching the way they build bikes. If it dont fit, get a bigger hammer or break out the grinder Billy Lane uses the mid usa powerhouse 114" motor in his bikes. The motor is bulletproof & puts out 130+rwhp. You see a lot of Jesses crap breaking down. Plus pretty much all of Jesses stuff looks the same. Different colors is the only change. You are right about paulie jr...looks very dirty. For some reason tho the women find him cute. I thought the Black widow bike was cool. Not very usable on a day to day basis, but very different if you are into making a scene wherever you go. |

getting dirty is one thing, and there's no dishonor in it but that cutsie trimmed wanna-be beard has just gotsa go, and he looks, not dirty, but un washed . . . . . but I digress (again) |
