I installed my new race ecm last night and though I can't ride the bike right now (too much snow)it seems to be running poorly. Does this mean I need to do a TPS reset? |

ummm. Yes. If you switched from the stock ecm to the "race" ecm, you will need the TPS reset. Rich |

That's what I thought. Luckily my bike came with the VDST software when I bought it... |

Got mine back today, runs 1000 times better after the TPS reset. Dont have to try and start it 3 times anymore when its cold before it decides to run! Also doesnt feel like its about to buck me off when I try to hold her steady at anything below 20 mph. Only cost me $46.10 too. They did a nice job cleaner her up as well! |

For around $25 you can build yourself a cable and then use ECMSpy software (free) to reset TPS yourself. It's easy, fun, and will save you a lot of dough in the long haul. And, you'll be more likely to check/reset it often! |
