Moderator. You’re a real jerk. It's a personal note intended for some of my friends on the board to let them know I have arrived home safely after 12 hours of back roads, a broken bike, and a deer collisions. Only certain people will "Get it" and obviously your not one of them. So go stuff yourself, stuff this Nazi board, and get out on your bike once and a while, it might work loose the stick that is up your ass. And go ahead and cancel my username, I wont be posting or reading here anymore; or supporting your sponors. (Ray, you can do your "Hip-Hip-Hooray" now) Hiel! AnonX1

Fly, So that was you we met on our way south. We continued on that road for several miles hoping you'd turn around and catch up. When I saw you guys I looked down at the clock and it read 12:08 Glad you had a good ride, would've been nice to meet you in person. Chi Bueller, I just saw the post for a starter, sorry I didn't see it sooner. Sounds like he's back up and running. Ride to the edge! Dave |

X1Bueller, BadWeB's option to post as "Anonymous" serves a very real and valuable purpose here on BadWeB. Diluting its integrity for your personal entertainment is not a valid use of the anonymous option; it is not acceptable. Maybe you didn't understand that and failed to notice the notation next to the "Anonymous" option check-box that clearly states "Valid reason required. Abusers will be exposed. If unsure, ask." If one individual is allowed to skirt the rule, what good is the option? Answer... it is worthless as others seeing the errant example are thus tempted and would be perfectly justified in following suit. The value of the anonymous option would soon be diluted, lost to over-use and abuse. You apparently feel you are above the rules. You are not, and the thankless job of enforcing the few rules here falls on me. In doing so, I simply reminded you of the policy nicely with no malice. I even thanked you. In return I get foul mouthed derision. You violate the policy, yet somehow feel justified in attacking me? Should you have a change of heart, you are welcome to continue participating on BadWeB. If however you hold fast to your above stated assertions, then I thank you for leaving BadWeB. You may delete your user account yourself from within your user profile. Blake |

After noticable consideration by other club members, I feel it is in our best interest to have an impromptu meeting on the third for those interested. I have to sound professional after that last post Sam, don't set up any chairs for the meeting, I think it would be fun to have it outside. I know it will be 90 degrees, but think of the fresh air. Frank had a great idea to go for a ride and grab something to eat later. For those coming, lets meet around 6:00 at the dealership. |

VWolf, Who is trying to control whom here? BadWeB is our BBS, it belongs to all the Buell enthusiasts who make it such an informative and interesting place to visit. I'm just the guy who takes care of it. Do you know any other sizable forums where users are permitted to post anonymously just cause they feel like it? To be perfectly honest, I am a bit of a control freak, but I thought I was actually making progress with that. Maybe you don't understand the purpose behind the anonymous option? It exists solely to allow some very qualified people to post valuable commentary and information here. That is the only reason. If we all start using it, that purpose is sabotaged, so it's just best if no one except those with a serious and valid reason to hide their identity use it. That okay with you? I hope so. |

Blake it is your board and I like the way you handle it. Here is an Idea for you a 12 hour turnaround on any annon post. It will still give people the option and it would take away the frivolous post. You would then get to okay the post or not. For all you free speech crusaders out ther this is a private forum so you have to live by the rules to use it. |

Thanks Paladin for your support and your suggestion. I'd really rather not be saddled with having to approve queued anony messages. I prefer the current honor system policy. And anyway, there is no efficient way to implement the queuing idea for only the anony posts. |

Court I was attempting to make you feel better about the rant.Notice "I love you BBS".I do.What I wanted to say, but find it hard to, You know how to run a Great BBS.You do so now.I can only pray you continue to keep this going. As I find less places to get quality in my information I come here first..then to my Dealer.I come here first because I know my Dealer can not spend as much time with me as I need.I am here to help myself as well as my Dealer.Any extras, like the people are a great boneass...did I spell that right?..ohweeel some may not understand me but then why do I post. (I need to stop saying I am sorry (maybe change it to sorryfull)that gets me in trouble..when you 6.7 250lbs everyone thinks your trouble)Vwolf |

Mark, I'm tentative right now, but I've always liked riding the Midnight Tour (except last year, city route sucked). I'll have a better idea if I can really make it closer to Friday. |
