Okay, so here is a strange one for everyone - is this a factory parts error? I ordered a cheese grater replacement from Andy and my part arrived in the mail today. To my surprise it wasn't a cheese grater at all, it was a solid piece, just like the one that comes on the XB12STT. You see, the Hero Blue CityX has a blue cheese grater. The Kick Ash bike has a silver one. We ordered the one off the Kick Ash bike, and the description says "clear" on it (assuming for clear anodizing?). When I opened the box, it is a solid black one, like on the XB12STT, not the holey silver one. But stay with me here, it has the correct CityX badging! Strange. It is like someone new grabbed the STT part and put a CityX badge on it instead of the silver one. Although, I don't mind the black solid piece and it still matches the bike (although it is a bit plain) and the badging is correct, I went ahead and installed it. What I had:  What I thought I was getting:  What I ended up with:   At least it matches the bike and it should keep some of that spray and debris off my back. I have a brand new silver one with the holes if your still interested. I did the (cut the whole damn thing off) mod. I have a blue one as well. Let me know. | ||

I have a left over silver one. $10 plus shipping. I think the solid one is an updated part, the perforated is the older style, but the annodized blue does look pretty sharp. | ||
