Back to the "old skool"! I recently sold my 2004 XB12R and my 2003 Blast. Here is what I picked up..........
2001 M2 Cyclone!!!!! I used to own an X1 back in the day. I am returning to my roots.

That's a class bike! Arguably the most thoroughly debugged and reliable of all the tubers. You're a lucky guy. Jack |

When I was looking for a bike last fall, I looked at Kawis, Harleys, and even a Triumph. I bought a Cyclone. Hail to the King Baby! |

Nice! I really liked my old M2. The volcano gray is (imho) the best color they every made. |

...with the orange frame. ...still gets my vote for the most beautiful [stock] Buell. (Message edited by darthane on February 22, 2008) |

Beachbuell, My eyes must be getting old - I saw the title to the thread and I swear I thought it said, "I Defecated". In either case, congrats! |

Nothing was wrong with the Bolt at all. I just wanted something with a little more character and rough around the edges. All Buells are rare and have character/soul (as in you don't usually pass yourself on the roads). But, the tubers are indeed like a fine wine or an acquired taste. Besides, I needed to slow down a lil bit too.

I've had a lot of bikes, still have a few, and the M2 is the only thing that I've kept this long and not lost interest in it. |

I kept the S3 as my streetbike when I bought my XB - and I love the black and orange:
