I'm looking at maybe making an order with them, but obviously checking first to see if anybody knows their quality. I like the windshield with the little "stinger" between the headlights, and the carbon tail that looks to use two round taillights might be interesting too. Also, if anybody else is interested, I'd be willing to add parts to my order to help cut down on their outrageous shipping (1 part or 10 parts is $48 and change..) PM me if you'd be interested. |

Let me know. I would love to find carbon fiber body parts including a custom airbox cover. I have an 06' XB9SX. If you find anything, I might be willing to go in on something. |

Have you all checked out the CF that American Sportbike (American Sport Bike) or Trojan has for the XB's/ 1125r? Neil S. |

So nobody's seen the Pro Carbon stuff? It's www.pro-carbon.com. LMK. PM me or post it here. Thanks! BTW, my ebay is mustang_pimp for anybody who might be skeptical. (Message edited by laserred on February 09, 2008) (Message edited by laserred on February 09, 2008) |

I'd shoot Trojan an email to ask since the stuff is manufactured in Europe. I have seen American Sport Bike carbon parts and KNOW that the parts are no-compromises on quality. I've talked to Al about the details of the design and manufacture and have NO questions about how they're made. (I just think that you're probably going to have a hard time getting a bunch of people together to import a bunch of expensive stuff from Europe and from a non-sponsor.) I've seen a lot of American Sport Bike carbon on various bikes, and I have a couple pieces myself. I can tell you firsthand that Slaughter is right on the money when he says there are no compromises in quality. Prices are good, service is the best. |

Slaughter, I'm not trying to "undercut" any of the sponsors here. I was just wondering if people have seen it, and if they have, about their experiences and if they would buy more. Do you know who makes the American Sport Bike stuff? Also, have people here seen the Ilmberger stuff? That stuff looks waaay expensive, but it seems to be top notch as well, with some parts American Sport Bike doesn't have. |

Call Al, he'll tell you all about his carbon and how it's made. |

I was sent some samples by Pro Carbon a couple of years ago, but I don't think the quality is anywhere near as good as Ilmberger or other top notch alternatives. This was two years ago though, so the quality may have improved since then. |

I was at Al's shop yesterday, checking out his carbon fiber covered 1125R, and saw something new that he's got in the works for the XBR/1125R crowd... it will work on both bikes. I won't spoil it, not sure if it's secret or what, but I'm excited about it. Here's a hint: think - "trunk space" |

And that was the last we heard of Pwnzor before the black carbon fiber unmarked van pulled up besides him and 4 men jumped out and snatched him. He will be missed.

Actually the Blackhawks are dark green. Everybody knows that only evil super villains have black helicopters. |

Mike Dillon - maker of some of the best progressive reloading equipment used to be an airline pilot and is helicopter rated. He bought the FIRST Notar that went to a civilian... and it was black. After first few months, after picking up a few bullet holes, he had it repainted. Paranoia knows few limits. |

Folks are lucky.. Mike is a nice guy and didn't decide to shoot back.. Knowing what he has access to.. That could be very, very messy.. |

Peter - right you are! In a prior life, we needed to re-gun our test jet and went to (then) Hughes Armament systems in Mesa. They were going to a "civilian" facility out in the desert - so we went out with Mike Chenoweth, the Navy, a couple HMMV - and a FAV with a 30mm ASP prototype that was pintle-mounted in the gunner's position (where they normally mounted a MK-19, M-2 or M-60. We also had reps from Litton who brought out some of their night vision gear. Turns out it was to Dillon's friend's facility/private strip. Cool guy that Dillon! |

"nice find. the cold air intake is awsome thanx." I have it, the cold air induction system adds pop and makes some cool noise. |

Laserred: Did you make an order? I placed one for the dual tail light tailpiece, but I'm not sure if it went through correctly. I'm waiting for confirmation via an email I sent them. Just wondering if you had any luck. |
