Author Message   Spectrum Posted on Thursday, February 14, 2008 - 10:09 am:        I woke up this morning to a flat rear tire on the bike. I got screwed, literally. No problem cause I bought the tire coverage with the extended service plan. I usually never buy extended services plans but seeing how the is a version 1.0 product I decided to make an exception. The tire coverage was an extra $200 and thought to myself "sucker" when I opted for it. Well I called there dealer this morning and told them I had picked up a screw in the rear tire. They said no problem, the tire coverage will replace the tire, no questions and no treadwear adjustment charges. Nice! Considering HD's tire prices and mounting charges that tire coverage just paid for itself. Only problem is they don't have the new Corsa III's in stock and it will take a week or so to get them in. So I went looking for a plug kit and found this flat repair kit. You guys probably already knew about it, but was new to me. Temporary fix till the new tire comes in, worked great and got me going with out having to take the rear tire off to go get it inflated. Quick, easy, and, reliable. I've got the the others but these generic worms still seem to work the best. But BE CAREFUL with the C02 inflators. Tires do not hold C02 nearly as well as they hold regular air, it leaks out MUCH faster. The C02 inflators are great for refilling quickly in a pinch, but try to find a gas station with a regular air pump to fill it more perminantly.   Spectrum Posted on Thursday, February 14, 2008 - 05:35 pm:        Finding a gas station is a must after using the CO2 cartridge. The cartridge doesn't provide enough volume to bring the tire up to pressure. I had less than 10 PSI in the tire after using the cartridge on a completely flat rear tire. Still it was enough to ride the bike (going slow) 2 miles form my house to the gas station.
