+1 No rice's bike changes the shapes of things by leaving black trim and coloring the rest. The lines on the pod differ dramatically with color. They may look even bigger on that striped up bike. |

hmmm, atleast they are trying. i give them credit for that! thanks guys, my bike still needs some work in the paint department. its not a show job or anything. but i ride to hard to need that. there are a few spots that need fixing, but i think it will have to wait a bit. i still have some things to add to the paint job though. |

I do not like that bike it is hard to paint a bike and have it look like it is made for the bike like the orange crush bike. I told myself I was not going to customize this bike, I lied to myself, all I can think about besides riding it is making it look better and perform better, I will leave the paint job for next winter this will leave me plenty of time to decide the right paint job for me and to practice more with my air brush, I just got to have skulls some were, I can do the art work with an air brush and have done real fire but looks good from a distance but I do not like it up close. I think I might go with a dark metallic grey with fighter jet graphics and or black ghost flames and some skulls. I might paint the frame and swing arm, have it powder coated, or rhino liner which would be like the tech skins and durable as a rock but they do not have colors so it would be black, I seen them spray a concrete block wall with a desk and dummy in the room with rhino liner and then explode a bomb and it keeps the wall together and the dummy in one piece. when they did the same thing with out the rhino liner on the concrete block wall the inside room, desk and dummy was destroyed, I think they are starting to use it for military purposes. I will get the bike done with all the gadgets I will be adding and while riding all season I will be watching and thinking of the perfect paint job for me, I do not like the blue but did not buy the bike for its color but I do like black, I will be painting with black graphics over some thing. I also will swap wheels with my sons ulysses and see how that looks but if not I will either get black wheels or silver wheels. Mike |

Although I agree that the 1125R needs some kind of graphics to break up the slab sided look of the side pods, that scheme definitely isn't it!! I thought somebody had thrown upon on it at first ;) |

I'm going to have fun when I get mine. I've got a bunch of leftover 3m reflective material. I plan on covering the entire right side frame with blue, and the left side with red. Should look interesting. Dave |

I've seen it. I would agree with Reeds name. I think they will have that bike a very very very long time, unless we find Dorothy soon. |

Dorothy...or a guy whose wife won't let him buy that new bass boat he wants ;) In pictures, I like it. Have to see it in person though...but a pretty cool look. Definitely RED. |

Yikes that's not my color! Here's the blue, in daylight, and with a flash.
I think this would be interesting on the frame only. Because it's just a big sticker, I can peel it off and try a different color, maybe get a vinyl cutter and do a pattern. Dave |

heck, i dont mind that firebolt. except the wheels either need to match or be black. the different shade red doesnt look right. other than that i could have some fun on it, lol |

At our Willow Springs races last weekend, the sidecars were running (amazing good fun to watch, but I digress) One crew had vinyl graphics made up by their sponsor. Was really clean and good looking. Nice thing is that when they get boogered up in a crash, just peel off and put on another set. These guys show up with a different color theme each race. Nice thing is that it's professionally applied and really looks good - even standing close: (photo Stuart "Stuman" Smith) (Message edited by slaughter on March 21, 2008) |

That's what I love about the printed 'wraps'. You can experiment! |

The wraps for a typical sportbike were something like $1000 and they recommended that THEY install them professionally. It's not a cheap way to get graphics on the bike but you sure can get images on that you otherwise couldn't consider |
