In an article somewhere, I read that some parts (levers and sliders maybe?) off the XBRR "kit" would fit on an 1125R... where do I find one of these "kits"? I would like to paint and outfit my 1125R to appear as a mock XBRR if there is such a kit, but I have yet to find one. My bike is garaged in St Louis Missouri, Thank you

No such kit exists.

Have your dealer order the parts directly from Buell racing.

I think you would need to weld the frame protector mounts on the frame, so if I were to do this I would have the bikes frame and wheels painted or powder coated. The pods are meant to take impacts and the covers are suppose to be cheap to buy, also the clutch cover has like a plug that is suppose to protect the engine but found out that is not true, I hit ice and spun the bike out and got the clutch cover really good so the plug did not do its job and I was just starting off so it was not a fast fall. I am interested in finding other products to protect the bike to and plan on fork, swing arm and rear passenger peg replacement to skid pads, I plan on doing track days and there is very good chance of going down, I would like to paint the bike but that would be next winter and I would have the frame mounts from the xbrr welded on that it has to protect it. Mike

Would the frame pucks fit behind the pods? And clear the knees?

Having not seen one in person, I was just wondering.

There's no need for the pucks.

I personally saw TWO 1125R "crash tests" out here at Willow Springs. You'd never touch a puck to the ground unless you slid under a car and tore off the radiator protector sliders.

And at Mid Ohio, an XBRR went down *hard*... and the welded on slider ripped open the frame / tank. They would have been better off with the pucks.
