I own a 2007 Buell Lightning XB12ss. I am curious if anyone knows how to modify the electical system to make both of the headlights work. First off, I'm not sure if the headlights are specifically designed for one to be a running light and one to be a bright light. The both look like the same bulbs and it is my guess that when the bright switch is turned on that it just feeds more power to the other bulbs, thus making it brighter. This is typically the case in vehicles as most don't have a seperate set of bulbs for "brights". What I am trying to accomplish is to have both lights work simultaniously on both low and hi beam settings. I just like the balanced look, its also good for visability, and people telling me I have a headlight out it starting to bug me. I have seen some topics about getting both lights to work when turning on the hi beam but thats not what I am looking for. I want them both to be on and the same brightness for hi and low beam operation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!} |

Quick & easy fix, try putting the hi/low rocker switch in the middle. It's a little touchy at first. |
