Author Message   Gambit Posted on Tuesday, March 04, 2008 - 10:43 pm:        these are on closeout at cycle gear for <100$ each - i was wondering how they perform. i currently have a set of D208's on my xb9 and the rear is naturally showing more wear than the front. can i get by with just replacing the rear in the future? i was thinking of just getting a rear with the closeout price and save it for after 1500 miles when the rear is due for replacement...   Jflaig Posted on Wednesday, March 05, 2008 - 12:59 pm:        Yes you can just replace the rears as needed. I get about 2:1 rear:front replacement proportions. I believe that some have gotten good wear out of the 220s. If nothing else, you can never go wrong having a spare tire laying around.
