Wife, son and I rode to 07' homecoming in East Troy and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to attend again this year. Problem is, there is no calendar of events for the July 2 through 6 bash, at least none that I can find. Starts on a wednesday and goes to sunday. Only want to attend a couple of days but without a Buell Homecoming itinerary I am at a loss. How's a person be expected to get hotel reservations set up without knowing what's going on each day? Buell needs to get some pertinent info up on their 08' Homecoming event website. Right now it's of little value for folks like me wanting to get my plans in order. |

Probably no real help here but I know that there is a track day which I think is on Friday (?), and there are races up a RoadAmerica Friday-Saturday-Sunday. The 4th of July is also on a Friday of this year. Beyond that, even though I'm currently a local here in Wisconsin, I've got nothing. I agree that a schedule of events and presentations and seminars, if any, would be a nice thing to have. But I suspect much is still in the planning phases as to time and place. |

Craig; reserve a room for the whole time. Then, once a schedule is announced, you can cancel the days you won't be attending. That way you're covered. I think that this year is going to make the past Homecomings look lame by comparison. (And the few that I've been to were Fantastic!) |

I live a hour south of Milwaukee and I can ride to any event with-in a two hour time frame which is kinda fun for the ride itself so if I was you, I would just book a motel in the Milwaukee area. |

Actually I'm currently scheduled to teach an MSF BRC on 6/30 through 7/2 so for now I can't leave until 7/3 anyway. And it will take us until 7/4 to get there. The Super 8 in Racine, where we stayed last year, wants about 110 per night and that includes tax. I'd rather stay for much less. Anybody know of cheaper accommodations? It'll be my wife, son, and I on 3 bikes. |

My dilema is that I won't be able to attend. Unless I can fit some floats and paddle on the rear tyre I won't be getting there. |

Craig; I just ran a quick search. The Knight's Inn across the street from the Super 8 in Racine has rooms for $76.65 on July 4 & 5, dropping to $66.25 the 6th. That's for 3 adults and two double beds. If you want to be closer to the Host Hotel, there's a Motel 6 in Brookfield that has rooms for $66.99/night. Hope this helps. |

Crusty, Now that's what I'm talking about. Thanks. I'll call them. |
