Aaron. Deal's Gap Run? Our thought was to get to Indy by about 12 p.m. and set up camp. Drop some gear and head out, hopefully making it to Knoxville for the night. From there it is about a 2 hour ride. Ride the Dragon a few times, hit some local spots and then head back to Indy. This will be weather dependent I am sure, but could be a lot of fun. | ||

http://www.superiorsights.com/recreation/orv/orv.h tml Here's a link to Michigan's ATV and ORV trails. Done a short stint on the Iron River West trail. These trails are groomed and well kept. Pretty wide too. I looked up some views taken from space, (damn spy government!) and it crosses major and minor roads a lot. That's good it you don't want to run the whole 67 mile route. Here's one option if some want to do the UP trip and have the bike that can handle the packed gravel like Coolice, Ugriz, (I'm sure he can dig a bike up  ) and anyone else that wants the adventure. Others can ride a different route and we can all meet up, or they can just hang out. Just a thought. | ||

Happy Anniversary Dana& Andrea.  15 years for Karri and me today. Huda thunk it!  Got the race bike fired up today (thank God!) No smoke. Small oil leak. Does that when you forget to tighten one of the oil lines.  I just have a small clunking sound from the top end I never heard before. However I may be hearing things that are not there? Jason, can you swing by some time soon and take a listen? Lifter possibly? | ||

DAMN IT!!!! Now I have a trouble code. It does the check engine light for 4 seconds off, then back on for 8 thing!! Not that I'm really all that surprised I guess. | ||

Congrats Rocco and Karri.  Hope you are doing something special. We took it easy here at the home front. Just spent time together as a family. Things have been hectic around here...I am in my first graduate class and getting ready to spend a week in Chicago with one of my classmates (From TX) at the National Teaching Institute and Critical care exposition- Gonna see Bill Cosby one night as a guest speaker  . Some day we will get together to do something. Dana has been on his bike more than me. I can not wait until school is over in June (taking a break) right now I am in a bridging process between degrees. I am walking June 21st with high honors. GPA 3.9 right now.... | ||

So... Who's going on the Slimey Crud Run this Sunday? Here's some details.... May 4th, 2008 We have two meeting places. 1st one is at Hals HD/Buell Meet at 8:00 kickstands up at 8:30! 2nd one is at the Kwiktrip on Hwy18, next to La Dukes custard stand at 9AM. My project is coming to a finish. Andrea is about to graduate in a couple weeks and the projects are getting wrapped up slowly. This is a pic from 3 weeks ago. The concrete is already in. Also shrubs,tree's,and a few yards of some landscape gravel.  | ||
