Ok, I know this is a minor deal, but I've been looking at this thing for 3 weeks now and it just bugs me every time I see it. All that money for a new bike and they give me a &$%* HD key chain. Jez!

Oh believe me I've already taken it off the one I ride the bike with. That's the spare key. I'm keeping it on the spare till someone gives me a Buell key chain. Got to have something to complain about! |

I'd be more inclined to complain about the key. I wouldn't lock a kids money box with anything that cheap and nasty looking. You sure can tell where the dollars are saved when Buell talk about bringing a bike to market at an affordable price. Rocket |

I will be more than happy to trade a genuine Blue Buell key ring for it. I am proud of the Harley Davidson heritage. In fact, I even own one,( Dyna FXDX Sport), and I must admit that I enjoy riding it. Of course it's no Buell when it comes to performance in the twisties, or on the track. Don't ask.......................

The blue key threw me off more than anything. I still have the HD fob on my M2 almost 7 years later. At least its not a coke machine key anymore. |

I'd be more inclined to complain about the key. I wouldn't lock a kids money box with anything that cheap and nasty looking. this may take the cake for the most ridiculously STUPID comment ever on Badweb....well, I think it's confirmed (if there was any doubt) that you are a nitpicking TROLL. Where is the "constructive" criticism in that comment? The only purpose of that is to take ANOTHER shot at Buell. Anyone concerned about how the key looks needs to get a life.} |

Wow. Those Ducati blanks look sexy, Rocket. Are those what you are bragging about? Please stop before you make even a bigger idiot of yourself..if that is possible. |

I'll take one of those Duc keys. I like em. I'll pass on the Duc bikes though. If they were as well thought out and executed in design as those keys are, I might reconsider |

Ooooo, I didn't know that Ducati come with titanium keys. Wait, they don't do they? This magnificent gem is what you get. Those titanium keys are neat though. I like the Pegasus key, just wish it came in black. But the bright blue is easy to spot. Don't complain about the keychain man, my S2 keys have HD stamped on them. |

OK Rocket titanium's nice but it's got no attitude, like these. And I know the "25r" is a Sportfighter but it's got the heart of Streetfighter.

Blazin, don't those knuckles beat up the top of your triple tree? Or is it so heavy that it doesn't move much? I have found that the quiet zone keeps keychains in check for the most part. My buddy's Busa whips the keychain around so much that it will beat up the finish in no time--up to the point where he just carries the key by itself now. |

Bebop - you don't have the gray plastic Buell covers for your S2 keys? |

Mine is bare necessities - Buell key, house key with the red plastic tube on it and a garage door opener. Plastic doesn't beat up the top tree too bad. Rocket - how much are those Ti key blanks? Looks like they were milled... Hmmmm.. I've got a half dozen 4 ft x 1/2in Ti rods; looks like another project. Zack |

Zac, I don't know. I grabbed the pic's from Google image. It was only for fun The 1125 Pegasus key is a nice idea. I don't like the Pegasus thing, but it's still a nice idea. Anyway, perhaps you could answer me a question. If you were to drag one of you Ti rods along a concrete surface at jogging pace with a little downward pressure applied, would it trail sparks? I have an idea. Rocket |

The most beautiful blue-white sparks you've ever seen... yes. < edit>oooh just saw "jogging pace", not sure if that's fast enough. Tell ya what - you send me a bag or two of Maltesers and I'll send you some Ti to play with. Zack (Message edited by zac4mac on January 30, 2008) |

The wife got a new sewing machine and while practicing up she put this together for me. Would be nice if Buell made some really good ones.

Fresno , I dipped it in rubber coating to keep that from happening. 300 miles later no scratches. |
