i'm only 2 hrs away this time and i'm trailering the bikes, one beacause the wife doesn't really want to ride but also because we'll be bringing camping gear for us and our kids. maybe i'll just let the wife drive down with the blast. if i would have trailered the xb down to buelltoberfest, i wouldn't had to have barker tote my bike back to chattanooga for me after i wrecked it. at least i'll be ready incase some one else runs into a problem. |

Defeat Murphy's Law - trailer to Suches and have no worries. You may end up saving someone else some heartache with having your trailer there. |

I could trailer, but i really just like loading up the bike and getting away from everything for a while if ya know what i mean. Im only 320 miles out i think, or i would consider trailering it. (Message edited by Guell on January 16, 2008) |

Slowride- please consider trailering down to be your baest option. Most of our crew live within 300 miles, and it is very nice on the last day of tearing up corners, to know that you still don't have a 300 mile super slab ahead of you. Multiply that by 3 and give up, as much as I love riding! You will be ready to relax in the comfort of a cage driving that far, for sure. Plus the added safety feature of not being tired and possibly running into bad weather on the way home! If you trailer down, you are almost guaranteed to have an epic adventure for which you will not soon forget. |

What are the night time temps like down there in late March, typically, usually, approximately? |

Rush's "Red Barchetta" should be the soundtrack for MBV, IMHOHOHO opinion. Actually, the best soundtrack is a Buell motor roaring through the mountains. Helps me cue my own inputs. Maybe we should check and clear that helo pad: let's hope for good input there, and plan for avoiding any sad/tragic output by all means. Ride Safe Not Skeeered Nor Squidly |

I'd rather him throw up a tent than to pitch one. |

(Note to self if I end of making this event: Bring cinder blocks to hold down tent lest someone tries to pitch it, and bring the rain fly lest someone decides to urp in the general vicinity of it.) |

Did someone say throw up in your tent? Yuccchhh. Smarter person would throw up in someone elses' tent......or outside maybe. |
