Called the MotherShip, and a few Buell dealerships in the mid - west and got the same answer - I dunno. The intake is so new that there are no instructions in the Mothership's computers, and none of the dealers have one in stock to see for themselves. So far everyone thinks it must just hang from the carb, looking at it and my bikes I see one possible mounting support area the intake could attach to (the hole on the forward side of the frame in front of where the standard legs mount to the frame). Still, I could be very wrong. So I'm asking the insiders - does the intake just hang off the carb? Is an upgraded intake rubber boot apart of the kit? If not, are unmentioned braces part of the kit? What is going to stop the intake and carb from going south while I'm going North? Since it is for Racing purposes only (lol) type of thing, are we then supposed to fabricate our own brackets?I and others would like to know before we start putting them on our bikes. Any info would be much appreciated! Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ |

Yup - just hangs off the carb! I better get busy and create instructions for supports, or some poor newbe is going to loose his carb in the middle of some place cool like Alligator Alley - lol - Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ |
