Just implemented a feature to allow you to use the following to navigate to your main page here. The idea is to make it a bit easier to tell folks about your forum here. Now you can just list links as "BadWeatherBikers.com/HRH" or rattle off "Bad Weather Bikers dot com slash HRH". "BadWeatherBikers" can be in any combination of uppercase and lowercase, but the "HRH" needs to be either all uppercase or all lowercase. BadWeatherBikers.com/HRH or... BadWeatherBikers.com/hrh (Message edited by Blake on December 05, 2007) |

Blake I tried the new link you set up from your post in HRH and it jumped me over to the PBR page. I'm not a computer guy but I think something may be wrong. Mike |

Mike, the code under the link is just a little off. I wouldn't worry too much and just try this... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/hrh |

And as always, if you just pump it into the address bar it will give the desired result. |

Blake, That is a very cool feature! Hope we can get it to work properly. (not that we have anything against the "Blue Label". |

Fixed the post above. As Stiguy noticed, the stated URL was always working properly. I just neglected to edit my post properly from cutting and pasting from a similar message to the PBR page. All you gotta do is type badweatherbikers.com/hrh or /HRH into your browser's address field and there you go and here you are. |

Hey, I know we are supposed to be getting together 2nd weekend in Jan in NC, is anyone thinking about heading up to DC for the IMC Sunday? |

Mel That would make ONE LONG WEEKEND doing both, but the IMS show would be REAL COOL to check out. I think Tank is still working out the details and if he has locked into a timeshare it would not be right to jack him on this deal. Mike |

Yes the unit is locked in... BUT, if ya'll would rather go north, no hard feelings here. If it makes ya feel better, I rented the unit for a week starting Jan 6. My mom, one of her friends+daughter, and my sis are heading down on the 6th for a couple days at the beginning of the week. So in effect, i'm killing several birds with this extremely inexpensive stone. Still, post up in the "Beach Party" thread so I can get a rough count. |

Hey Guys.... I just took delivery of a cool 9V battery operated Pinhole Video Camera, smaller then a nickel. I plan to "stick" this camera to the faring of my lightening next time we go out together. Unfortunately, I think that's going to be a while for me as I believe that 54-5500 Miles is about the limit to my Pirelli rear. I went back to that corner in Stevensville yesterday for a photo session and to take advantage of what might have been the last good riding day of the year. By the time I hit 664 the rear was pretty squirrelly, when I got home the middle had it's own edges! I figure I've got less then 50 miles before belts now. (Thanks Kevin) |

nice deck! Let me know how you like it. I got pissed at Kenwood years ago due to a crappy deck that had a faulty catch for the flip-down face. I need one for my super pimp Shaggin Wagin(98 Saturn SW2 wagon). I was lookin at Pioneer and Alpine but I'm willing to go back to Kenwood if their quality is better. P.S. Ya'll need to get in that FanIQ.com dangit. I get a free t-shirt if 10 people join from my invitation. Plus I'll be the first one at work to get a shirt. No pressure...I'll be ok I guess. http://FanIQ.com/user/kmfw160/connect (Message edited by kmfw160 on December 16, 2007) |

A couple years ago, there was some talk of a race track in New Kent at the 33 exit off of 64. Does anybody have any newer information on this? joe |

When Virginia Raceway park was under development it was rumored to have a drag strip, road course and an off-road park. I believe New Kent County was one o0f the rumored locations. If I am correct what your asking about is in Dinwiddie Va and has no road course.

Isn't that were Colonial Downs is? Well, it is a racetrack, just not the kind we would ever use. |

The road course was supposed to be dragons ridge. It hasn't been developed at all for the last year-year and a half. The plot is there, the access road is there. They were starting work, but never really continued. There are posts about it on vadriven (the new version of dragva). But, I don't think there will be any real development on it unless Skip Barber gets on it. From what I hear the same guy that re-opened VIR is the guy that is heading up the new road course in NJ. I'm guessing that if he put his hand in the pot over here, he might end up losing customers out at VIR. Even though it would still go to the same pocket, I think he realizes how much more important VIR is to the racing community as a whole to have it go down the same road that had it inactive for so long. But, I sure would like a local road course myself. |

In addition the rumor is, there was a hold up with some permits and rezoning issues. And as far as the speculators can figure out, the holdups are all cleared up now but the finances have run dry already. I know that if the owner/coordinator had his head only half way out his ass he would be on EVERY message board, that would have even ONE customer to his track, on the internet letting everyone know EXACTLY what is going on. There are so many people in this area ALONE that connections, strings, etc. to help get things done. And some even have just plain old cash to help out. But, the dude obviously hasn't had the mod to get the sightglass installed in his bellybutton yet. (Message edited by stiguy on December 20, 2007) |
