I've got 29,900 on my 06 Uly. Do all my own maintenance with oil and stuff. I just started noticing that when I am applying the front brake there is a knocking sound coming from the front wheel. It sounds like the brake is hitting something but I do not see anything to hit. The rotor and pads look good but have not measured them. What is the best route to take to find the problem or is it time to change out the pads and rotor? Thanks, |

Your rotor may be out of round. This happened to me and the busings that hold the rotor on were so wore they turned and got locked in the rotor and caused it to go out of round. Put it up on a stand and spin the wheel while having a very close look at the rotor as it turns going through the caliper. If something is wrong you will see it there. |
