"You can turn a v rod into a bagger" I don't believe that is possible.... you can make it LOOK like one, but you'll never get the same ride quality. |

Bagger, I wasn't saying you were posting false comments. Re-read my comment.... I was saying that yes, you can buy all the parts to make your v-rod look just like a bagger, but it will never handle or act like one. |

Bonjoxb I do see what you said and I have own several baggers and do not know what you mean by ride quality, have you ridden a v rod bagger? I do not understand what you mean by ride quality the baggers suck at handling so maybe a v rod bagger would be better? but do not know because I have never ridden one, and I could not make that judgment about ride quality unless I had ridden a v rod bagger. Mike, I have never ridden a v-rod bagger either But i have ridden plenty of v-rods and i can say i would never, ever, trade my bagger for one....I love the v-rod engine....just don't care for the way the bike rides and handles.... I am quite fond of my road glide and it handles just fine in my opinion....and as an added bonus, it makes my old xb feel fast as hell !! |

I never ridden the v rod so I know nothing about it and do not like how the gauge is mounted to the handlebars. I do not like the v rod for many reasons so I would never buy one but just knew they did have a kit for them to turn into a bagger. Mike |

Bagger.... the V-Rod has a ride similar to many sports cars. Low, Long, Fast and doesn't absorb the bumps in the road like a bagger does. Now a little front fairing would take some of the wind off you, but you just wouldn't have a very plush ride. I'd personally take a road glide and go tear the canyons with it. It's not as fast, nor as nimble as the Buell's but it's a great ride for ANY occasion. |
