I got a back to the dock from a job offshore this afternoon about 4:00 PM and there were a couple of voicemails on my phone. ( Poor cell coverage 48 miles out in the Gulf. A five hour crew boat ride to do an hour's worth of work, oh well ! ) The VM of interest was from Mike the tech at Pensacola HD / Buell telling me that the voltage regulator had arrived about noon, was installed, the bike checked out, test ridden and ready to be picked up. He said that it was 1:00 PM but to hurry as they were closing at 2:00 PM for New Years Eve. Oh well, the bike will be there when I'm ready to pick it up. OK, in no particular order: Anony - I do know who you are ! Blake Court AndrewEgbert Mike @ P-Cola and anyone else behind the scenes that I'm unaware of THANK YOU!!! . |

Well, I'm certainly not always the anony posting, but I was the guy who got the darned part at the plant and boxed it and sent it. You are very welcome, BTW. And I am really glad they jumped on it. Good guys to do this on New Year's eve; I'm sure they were busy and thinking about partying tonight for some relaxation. Now if you have a chance, leave the sucker on a trickle charger for a while, or better yet, put some serious miles on it! That'll get the battery fully up to snuff. Darn I wish I was in Florida!!! Have fun! |

Glad you got it fixed....that's awesome! I had a great track day at Jennings. Weather was nice. It was over 80 degrees in New Smyrna when I was down there, but not a twisty road in sight. LOL! I got back to Nashville and it was snowing. HA! |
