I'll be going to look at this one (#694) in person for the first time tomorrow. Don't know if I can sleep tonight. Been really obsessing for the last few days when the dealer called to tell me it was in. It's so bad that, even though we're broke, my wife just told me tonight "Go have a drink or two downstairs and try to sleep for a change. If you like it as much after we look at it tomorrow as you think you like it now, I want you to consider bringing it home with us." May not sound like much, but to me it's huge. My wife is a serious miser with managing the finances, so if she's telling me to get it I must be seriously obnoxious about the thing... | ||

Update to my story... I didn't yet bring it home. I have to sell the Sporty first, and the trade-in value they gave me was for sh!t, so I've posted it on HDTrader.com: http://www.hdtrader.com/2004-XL%201200C-Sportster_ 1200_Custom-74538-3 Wanna buy it?  Like the ad says, it's negotiable. Anyway, I'm going to leave it listed for a month. If it isn't sold, I'll have to reconsider the trade-in. I'm estimating mid to late February to have the 1125 sitting in my garage, or even sooner if I can get the XL sold. |
