just noticed your winter mod thread and was wondering how the touratech bash plate fit any mods to it or direct bolt...thanks |

direct bolt, 6 fasteners, 1 beer 1 hour labor, would have been less if I didnt have to look for all of my damn tools. It was easy enough to do.

yw, I will eventually get the other two pieces of that bashplate kit, but damn Touratech stuff aint cheap and no discount. But it will save your exhaust can from off road damage . |

Will that thing fit on any XB Buell or just the Uly? I like the look of the guard and from the looks of the bottom of my muffler, I could use it on my Ss. |

Well, it's fitted on a race kitted CityX so I would guess it fits any XB It looks like it uses the existing chin fairing mounts which are all the same on all XBs. |

If I were about 3 inches taller I would be riding a ULY, since I am short, I take out my trail aggression on the CityX (thus the screen name CityXSlicker & that and I grew up on a farm, and it is one of my fav movies) there was a post up in big bad and dirty that showed why I NEEDED the bashplate |
