Hey all. Wrist still slightly sprained. Want to take it easy. managed to get the Harley out last week for a couple rides. Need to get a battery tender for the Buell. Not riding it enough. Won't be down there this week, but hopefully will have the bike back up next week and wrist should be better. | ||

Wrist much better. E-mail from the North store saying that the 1125 is in. May get the Buell out tomorrow. Go take a look. Anyone want to meet there? | ||

Yes sir! The 1125r is in, for a few days now. WOW what a bike! We(north store) have 1 and it's possibly available for demos soon. Another was sent to the south store. Buell says every dealer must keep 1 on display at all times so the 1 we have isn't going anywhere. I don't know how long the waiting list is yet but if I had 2 guess- 2,3 months because we are a bigger dealer. Most other dealers in the nation are having problems receiving the bikes, just for display. The bike is definitely worth the trip to see. To bad 1 of them isn't in my garage like everyone thought it would be. It is definitely 1 of the top 3 bikes out as per true track performance but the lightning is still a better street bike; I don't like mine any less. Just like I thought when I got the bike. Glad to hear it stretch; see you there tomorrow if you come, otherwise gimme a call so we can ride. | ||

yes I did, my brother and I checked it out at the North store on Sunday. now I just can't wait to throw a leg over it. Stretch good to hear your doin better. | ||

Yeah, it has it's ups and downs. I felt great 2 days ago, then yesterday sucked. Today is much better, but i have left the brace on it. I am getting tired of not being able to ride. Or type, or use the mouse. Hoping against hope it heals. | ||

Merry Ho Ho. Wrist is getting better, but now the foot is acting up again. I can't win for losing. Looks like a bone spur, or maybe the bone is dislocated. I had it X rayed before at the VA, but for what it's worth, it could be hanging by sinew, and no one would know by looking at it. I may need to go see a real Dr. Bikes are staying parked way too long. Maybe the good lord is trying to tell me something. I dunno. Hopefully it gets better. I have to take a physical for a new job. I may not pass because of this. I am getting really frustrated. | ||

So, yesterday, I say screw it, I am going for a ride. Well, showered, managed to put on some magnum boots with the side zipper, and could undo the laces to get my foot in them. All dressed in black. Ready to ride. Walk outside, and guess what. Yep. It's raining. So now I am pissed. I go into the garage, and am ready to swap the bikes around anyways, because I am really jonesing for a ride. I dig out the Buell key, put it in the ignition, turn it, and guess what. You got it. Nothing. Nada. Not even a needle sweep. So, here it is, Christmas day. Oh well, SOL. Today, I go to the store, and get a 1 amp charger. Should have done my homework, and got a float charger, that shifts to maintenance charge, but what the hey, I am stupid. So it's on a one amp trickle charge until tomorrow morning. Bound and determined to ride. At least the foot that's screwy is on the brake side. and the battery should be fresh after a long slow charge. Still haven't seen the 1125R. May mean a day trip tomorrow to the dealer. | ||

Man, slept all day. Going to Miami HD tomorrow so they can test the brake light switch and make sure it's bad. It's a warranty thing. Then they gotta order it. Nice ride back. Hit no snarls, bike just purred like a kitty. See ya again soon. | ||

stretch- $12.95 y0810.9 it can be ordered after the 1rst or 2nd because h-d is closed through the holidays but im sure they will warranty it, if not i will get you one. torq- 05' xb9 sprocket(34t) and primary chain $175+/- depends when you get it from me(know what i mean), the south store should have the sprocket but i can order both, should take 2-3 weeks max. | ||

Wonder if Seminole's 1125 is still standing.... Yeah, I called Dave on the switch. I was supposed to get over there today to see if they could test it, but I never made it. In fact, I just got outta bed an hour or so ago. Thawing dinner now, gonna try and make it out the door tonite sometime. Just got home. did about a 50 mile ride. The guys at the shop say that the battery is good. After riding it for a while, I shut it off for gas. it fired right up. Then I stopped at 7-11 for some things, and when I tried to start it again, it hesitated. May be the stator is going. Doesn't seem to have a full charge regardless. May have to go in for that. | ||

Still don't have my brakelight switch. Never got over to the dealer to get them to check it. Utoob took out sunny muffins. I am so bummed. Job interview tomorrow. If they don't hire me, then maybe thursday I go talk to someone else. Have to go back to work soon. | ||

Well, I lucked out. Got a telecommuting position. Doing computer stuff. I can't believe how lucky I am. Still need a brakelight switch. Been humping butt with some computer issues myself, trying to get ready for work. I am going to try to make it over to the dealer next weekend. Scarewolf, are you still at Harley? I know the switch is covered under warranty, but it's only like 13 bucks, and one nut plus a plug. I may just go ahead and order it. Clif, it is checked. I will get with the admins and see if it's broke. But tnx for the tip. Hope to be back in the swing of things soon. | ||
