I am in the market for a GPS for my City-x. I really don't want to spend for a Zumo. However I do want it to be able to preload specific trips and then have it just guide me through. Anyone out there have an idea for my City-X. I would love to keep it under $350 for the unit and the ram mount if need be. tanks |

You should be able to pick up a Garmin Quest (not Quest II), new w/ warranty + RAM mount for very close to that. Mine has been excellent. |

+1 on the quest. Look on ebay or for refurbed, and make sure it includes software. Then get the RAM mount for it, and either hack up your own power adapter using cut up parts of the AC adapter, or just buy the Garmin / Buell kit and be done with it. It's nice because it lets you really route a route, you are not just picking a start and end point and left a victim of auto routing... many other GPS's will do this to you. You might be able to get the whole deal for $200 if you get lucky and are patient. |

tale a look at Lowrance; they have a new unit that is weather proof for about $250 and they offer a handlebar mount. |
