Am I the only one who looks at this Honda CB1100R concept bike in all of the magazines right now and hopes Honda DOESN'T build it because I would fold and trade my Buell? I'm sure it will have plenty of performance for my aging bones and I think it looks perfect. For those of you who haven't seen it, its the red, white and blue bike at this link. http://sameerkumar.blogspot.com/2007/09/stunning-n ew-hondas-revealed.html |

I think it looks great, but I doubt the ride would engage me like a vibrating uncomfortable S1W does. What will spoil it is if they mass produce it. Rocket |

I just like bikes where you can see all the parts and there aren't many of them. A bike that looks like it is mostly air. Maybe after this 1125R takes off, Buell will offer a retro "tuber". Probably not though, Erik is always looking to the future. |

Beautiful bike, but that seat looks hard. |

I really like it. I don't know if offers anything I want that my Firebolt doesn't though. |

The Evo6 looks like a BMW, and the CB1000 looks like a Honda Night Hawk. A Buell Lightning looks like a Buell Lightning. They are unmistakeable and there is nothing else like it. |

Screw Honda. They had the perfect sport tourer and they killed it off. XX |

My wife mentioned that she wanted to buy herself a new Honda a couple of months ago, so I said"go for it." How did I know she meant an Accord? |

CB110R? It looks like a Honda Sabre as done by Bimota, back in the day. Nice. Can I get a new V65 ( or V45 ) Sabre with that classic fairing? |

Anyone notice the preponderance of "cheese graters"? I would prefer a naked version of the CB1100R. CB1100RF Monoposto. |

Now matter how good it looks, it will still be a Honda and will not have a soul. And some of the money will go to the jerks at American Honda. Those are the bastards that threw a snit and withdrew from the AMA competition committee when it generated a rule that allowed the XBRR to compete in the same class as the Honda 600cc in line fours. As it happens, I don't think the XBRR's were a serious threat. If Honda was smart they would have quietly kept their mouths shut and just whupped up on them. But no, they had to run their mouths because they think they own American motorcycle racing. It made my so mad I almost sold both my Hondas (a '75 Super 90 and '78 Trail 90). Jack |

Ohhhh. The CB1100R makes me drool and cry. I drool because I am in love, and I cry because I just bought my XB9R. That means, even if they do produce it, I'll have to wait at least 6 years to get it. That is easily THE BEST looking retro I have seen yet. |

That bike does nothing for me. I guess I am just not a retro cafe bike fan. And that CB1000 to me is just plain ugly. It reminds me of the Kawasaki Z1000. Plus, they have got to be kidding with that muffler. But then if you guys like them, good for you. By all means, get one. |

soul is in the rider....and how they feel about their chosen ride....did it matter to the cowboy if their ride was a paint or arabian or appaloosa...i dunno im not much of a cowboy but ive ridden lots of bikes and they all make me feel the same...free...the buell did sound good though . |

Lots of exhaust pipe and muffler and an old style fairing. Yech. I dig the Tube Frame Buells way better and also the retro Triumphs and Ducs too. But I've never much cared for any IL4 machine. |

That Evo6 is awfully tasty looking. Love my Buell, but have always respected Honda's offerings. That's some pretty sexy lipstick on that pig. |

Like it or not, what's nice about the Honda is it is styled perfect. There is not a thing that looks wrong or out of place on it. Of course, it won't have been styled by a Japanese designer, will it? Rocket |

The CB1000 is a knock off of Kawi's Z1000 Honda is wasting their time on that one. |

It doesn't make me want to go out and sell my Buells, although it looks nice. The 1125R is another matter...I might have to sell one of my Buells and my Duc. |

I'd definitely want to test ride the Evo6. The ergos don't look that bad on it. However I'm not sure if its my computer monitor but it looks a bit long for my tastes... |

That CB1000 does look an awful lot like the Superduke. And the CB1100R looks old. I realize thats becoming popular with all the retro stuff coming out. But I don't like it at all. |

CB1000 = Speed Triple = Super Duke = Tuono = Z1000 I am just waiting for the Buell equivalent. |

I agree with Jackbequick, Honda should have shut up and raced. That bike reminds me of an old z900 with the cafe fairing. |
