Walt Sipp is coming to Willow Springs this weekend to run the XBRR against our local Buell talent! (and not to forget the twins of Ducati, Aprilia, Honda, Suzuki) This is gonna be a VERY interesting weekend! I spent the entire day yesterday on the sea-level dyno at Bartels and this afternoon we're going to run Glendale's and Bartels bikes on the Lancaster dyno (2500 feet above sea level) for a check again up here. Tomorrow's racing is gonna be really interesting! Too bad that most race clubs have an off season and at Willow, racing is year-round but it does give somebody like Walt a chance to come out and play when his regular season is over. Much as I hate to see a serious challenge to Glendale/Dixon's regular podium finishes - all I can say is LOOK OUT DIXON! I'm betting there's gonna be RACING in the Formula Twins class and we might see the Ducatis of Claudio Szyskowski and Michael Baird losing some visibility! Really gonna be a fun time! Well, I wasn't much competition for the regular WSMC competitors, but I had fun and I learned a new track so it was a successful weekend. Thanks to all the Buell guys for the hospitality. |
