Does anyone know if I have a chance of getting this warrantied: There as been a discolored section, about 3/4 in by 3 in for as long as I can remember. Now it finally started chipping down to bare metal. Its clearly not from rocks, tire changes, etc. The only possible thing that could have caused this (other than a application defect) would be if some really harsh chemical pooled up on the wheel while it was sitting parked. However, its on the left side, so I don't even think this could possible have happened. I'm pretty anal about things like that, so I don't imagine I could have done such a thing, but if it were possible to destroy powdercoat in such a manner, then a claim adjuster could easily veto this. . . if it even potentially qualified for a claim. Thanks in advance. |

>>>Does anyone know if I have a chance of getting this warrantied Absolutely there is somebody, that'd be your Authorized Buell Dealer. |

Yeah, dealership told me that extended service plan wouldn't cover such a thing. I should have pointed out the bubbling while I was still on my two warranty, I thought it was just residue. I'm going to call hd/buell customer service tomorrow, but I'm not real optimistic. Has anyone else had this problem. |
