Was reading service manual and came across transmission drain plug torque. I am paranoid on torques ever since I stripped out the crank case drain plug on my 08 Uly. The Trans drain plug torque in the Service manual states to tighten to 14 to 30 ft lbs. 19 - 41 NM. I'd do 14 to 16 ft lbs. Guarantee 26 foot pounds will strip out threads. 30 foot pounds is clear nuts. The Buell gods got to fix these torques somehow. Bulletins or leaflets sent to dealers to install into the owners manuals. Just trying to save someone out there.
