Was looking to find out what some may have paid for an 08 xb9r. Would like to walk in with cash and get it out the door either under or at msrp |

There was no XB9R for 2008. You'd have to be looking at a 12R. |

I got a 2006 XB12Ss in April 07 from a dealer. It had 396 demo miles on it. $9000 and the 2 year warranty beginning April 07 since it had not been titled. About $1200 off. If that helps you any. |

Dgp, the MSRP on those bikes is only $10,495... I am hoping that the 12k was a typo on your part. Paperless, do your research and find out what the trade in Value is on an 07 BEFORE negotiating with the dealer. If you do, you'll get a heck of a deal as Buell's are not known for their residual value. |

It's almost december and you live in NJ. If you can't find a Buell dealer that will sell you a bike at MSRP or less you're not looking hard enough. |

Part of the challenge is finding one in stock . . . I was at Liberty (I go to drool) on Friday and asked, somewhat timidly . . "do you have that Blue Ulysses?". The good news. . . for my long term health. . .was that it arrived and left within hours of the same time. They have a FLOTILLA of 1125r's on the way . . having ordered the max . . these guys are poised, ready and headed off to training! Thank goodness they are not getting any more Blue Ulysses. . I just wish they had heated grips!~

I bought a brand new 06 XB9SX just as the 07s hit the floor. I got the bike for $7500. my buddy was also buying a brand new Harley at the same time so that gave us some bargaining ability |

I just paid $9400 OUT THE DOOR on a '07 XB12STT, list is $10,295. plus tax title and all the other add ons it came to close to $12,000. All I had to get was a tag, I live in a different state form the dealership. You need to find a dealer who's willing to work with you. I don't pay games with them I ask for his best deal and took what he said at face value. I went to my bank for a loan, lower rates! I had been to another "Stealership" and they wanted $3500 more for the same bike near as I could tell. They never would say what it was out the door all they wanted to say was how much a month...didn't even want to tell HOW many months. Don't be worried about walking out if you EVEN think they are trying to take you. Hell I did and would/will again! Not just the Buell either Birdy |

I've never bought a bike from Liberty . . . but kind of expect they are alot like I know Dave Stueve was. You ask what the best price is, they tell you, you buy or don't but the motorcycle and everybody is happy. I've always, and I know I live in a dream world, had the luxury of dealing with honest dealers when I bought bikes. No regrets. I'd buy from Anthony in a heartbeat. . . . if Buells had heated grips!

In Sept I purchased my 07 XB12R for 8400 out the door. It was a trade in with 350 miles. Still got the 2 year warranty. |
