I noticed in the pictures from a Badweb member that has received his 1125R that the pipes are a gold/bronze color. I was expecting them to be silver from the pre-production pictures. Is the bronze color fixed in the production models or is this related to parts supply issues? If all the production bikes are going to have bronze colored pipes, I suspect Al will be doing a good bit of business with ceramic coatings. |

If you're talking about the headers, they'll be silver until the first time you take the bike for a ride, then the heat will turn them golden bronze in color... |

They are silver when they install them from the factory, but they run the bikes and do system checks on them at the factory. Was pretty cool to do the factory tour a few weeks back and see the whole thing built and tested. By the time they are done doing their tests, they are bronze.
