The part number is in the carb intake section - (if not it is the smaller one ready to fit an HD CV40 Carb), of the Thumper KV - just email the nearest RamFlo dealer with it and get a new carb intake gasket, clean out the carb intake screw holes and install to carb at max torque spec - an interesting idea - http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/201 64/20164.html?1194826146 The Pro-Flo still looks like the best lite weight unit - or this - http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/201 64/303486.html?1184719544 is a great idea as well. I still like my stack best and it has been repeated by LSR bikes;0) GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

your stack filter comes from american spot bike correct? i can't seem to locate it on their site is it a direct bolt on for the blast? i'm just looking for something that will do the job and not get in the way of my legs. don't much care what it looks like price is always important i found the ram flo's for about $50. thanks for the quick response! andy |

ok i think i know what you have for your set-up now...american sport bike v-stack with a filter that slides inside the v-stack and an outer-wear bootie such as these pictured here: http://www.cas4.com/Carburetors-Intakes/Air-Cleane rs/Velocity-Stacks/carburetors -air-cleaners-wimmer-velocity-stack-filters.html correct? if so what holds the filter in the v-stack? is it just a snug fit that stays in place? thanks again andy |

http://www.cas4.com/Carburetors-Intakes/Air-Cleane rs/Velocity-Stacks/carburetors-air-cleaners-wimmer -velocity-stack-filters.html bad link above maybe this will work...are you running the foam filter at the top left and an outwear bootie or just the bootie? what do you think about running both? thanks andy (Message edited by andy9743 on November 12, 2007) |

Laura runs the 450 series Ramflo - http://www.ramflo.5u.com/ I use only the Bootie and I've trained my leg not to get in the way of the carb, I would sugest the Ramflo or one of the others I mentioned if your a knee hugger - lol - please note - I run stack and bootie - no inner stack filter as suggested. And get the bootie from Outerwears.com - using the part # in my profile - call them and order it and save a lot of money vs. CAS4. GT - JBOTDS! EZ (Message edited by ezblast on November 12, 2007) |
