sounds like we are going to try and sell my girlfriends blast. it is a 2001 that we bought with around 7,000 miles on it. has almost 11,000 miles on it now. the day we brought it home i put new rocker box gaskets in it as it still had the original leaking ones. hasnt leaked a drop anywhere since then. also has a new clutch cable at the same time. i have an extra clutch hub and clutch pack with about 3000 miles on it that i will probably throw in. it has run great for her and i both. after a good tune up it has always seemed to start up great even when it has been 20 degrees in the mornings here lately! it does have some scratches on it. we would like to get $2000 out of it as that is what i owe on it. i will try and get some more recent pictures of it. it now has the regular seat, some grey buell decals, and a few other minor changes.   | ||

i was kind of thinking the same thing. the price may be a little negotiable, but pay my food and fuel to get there will put you right back at or above where we started. (i eat alot more than my tow vehicles, lol) now if you were willing to buy me a weekend lift ticket to winter park i would be all up for it!!! | ||

Kyle is saving, unfortunately right now my schedule an Patricia's are keeping him from getting an after school job because he has to watch his sisters until we get home several days a week. With me getting admitted full time into the Engineering program full time schedules will only get worse, but his oldest sister turns 13 soon...we are still trying to get her to act her age. Kyle is a good kid, and even if I bought it for him he'd be expected to get some sort of weekend/evening job (while keeping his grades up) to pay for gas, upkeep, and of course insurance. It goes without saying that He already has gear and knows how important it is  If you still have it around the end of January/beginning of February I may be able to swing it. Until then funds are just too tight here. | ||

Well even if you don't take me up on my deal maybe if you come out here we can do the snowmobile deal. The 800 is actually my wifes sled. I have a 2005 King cat 900 with nitrous. 160hp without who knws how much with. Now thats a ride!! There are lots of rentals available also. (Message edited by buelliedan on December 05, 2007) | ||

i always wanted to get one of the king cats when they came out. they are sharp. i had 2 zrt 800's and a nitroused thundercat. that thing moved! and bump... someone would gain massive brownie points at christmas with this thing lol | ||

ok, have to bring this back to the top. my 1125 shipped on the 2nd and just got the gf another bike because a friend needed some help so i bought his bike. make me some reasonable offers. i know, everyones reasonable is different... if i dont have to haul it i am more negotiable, if i do, then i have to borrow a trailer and feed my blazer so i just CANT deal AS much. | ||

Hmmmmm Kinda interested. Can you list what repairs the bike needs and list any mods and maintenance that has been done besides the above mentioned? Also how far north of St. Louis are you? | ||

it really shouldnt need any kind of repairs. it is in good running order and was driven almost daily all summer and fall. it doesnt have a right hand mirror. and no horn. other than that, the shift peg itself is a little bent. there are some scuffs, but no major damage on the bike. only thing it might need is some new tires. i would ride it most if not all next summer on the ones it has, but you may want different ones. i am sure i could help you out with some tires if need be. the belt guards have been trimmed down some, front turn signals have been shortened and the rear ones moved forward a little to a different mounting spot since the original plastic plate mount was removed. i think the low seat will be back on it when we sell it. DRIVE TIME: 5 hours, 40 minutes EST. DISTANCE: 340 miles  | ||
