Just a little surprise when I picked up the starter gasket today from local HD/Buell, P/N 31488-81. Very nice metal with rubber on one side. But $42 was a bite of a surprise. So budget for it if needed.

Hi.
Didn't know what you bought,but this gasket is only $7,plus/minus 5cent.
I checked that by your p/n here:

Without that B upgrade it's only $1.

Thanks for the input, I will have to do some checking with other HD's if the price is as you say I will talk with them Friday when I pickup my fork seals. Thanks for the positive feed back.
