Hello fellow buellers,

I've just tried to reinstall my rear crankcase screw and managed to strip the thread inside the crankcase.

This unfortunately shares the same bolt as the shift lever which no long stays in place.

I need to replace this with the older style but when I bought the bike it never came with the original linkage rod between shifter shaft and the footrest. I'm going to try and make one myself but was wondering if any of you kind folk had the measurement of this?

Muchly appreciated.

Cheers
SD

It's an adjustable part. Are you looking to make a threaded barrel with two heim ends like factory? Or just fab a solid piece? If solid, set the shift lever (1) position, find your toe lever comfort height (5), and make your measurement.

Thanks Ratbuell, I was going to make a threaded barrel out of some round bar similar to stock. But you suggestion of a solid piece sounds like it'll get me going for the time being. Cheers
