I'm interested in hearing from others that have installed a Drummer on their bikes. I was told that this install alone would help the motor run more precise, meaning, take away the surge feeling at light throttle loads. Would you agree? I wanted some noise, tired of the sound of wind (no motor)in the helmet. And we can always use more power, this is what is claimed. Would appreciate your comments! Thanks, Stedee |

For future reference, on account of I'm big into hearding topics to their greenest pastures, a better topic page for this thread can be found here; looks like a couple "Drummer" threads populate the list there already. Also try a google search and/or a regular BadWeB search (Message edited by blake on November 17, 2007) |

Blake, I believe the question is primarily driveability related, not exhaust related. Reread: Does the Drummer help to correct the light throttle surging? This is troubleshooting-poor running...... |

Blake, thanks for the link to the past Drummer threads. I've read a few and some did indicate that the engine management system was helped with just the muffler. I also read that the TFI would further enhance performance. Was wanting to hear others input on the subject of driveability. Just trying to get an idea of how much I could spend. I probably should have titled this thread: "Driveability with a Drummer" I like the Uly, but not sure why yet. |

You do know that Drummer is a sponsor and have their own page in the sponsor's section where Kevin will be happy to answer any questions you might have. He's a straight shooter. I'd ask him first. |
