Right up until I turn down a dirt road and push it to 50 mph through the gravel, mud and muck, have them call the copter on me ;) |

"Right up until I turn down a dirt road and push it to 50 mph through the gravel, mud and muck, have them call the copter on me ;) " i can guarentee you that a firebolt will do 100 plus down a gravel/dirt road! (i grew up running off payvment) i think it will more depend on WHO is chasing you on it... |

Real, part of a program to get Squids off the street and on the track. |

Uniform looks like California HP. I think that's one of the scariest photos I've ever seen. Brings back memories of the Arkansas HP pursuit car I saw once - full race AMX. Z BTW - nice photo on your profile page New12r - is that you? how much was the ticket? (Message edited by zac4mac on November 01, 2007) |

That picture is real. CHP sponsors track days in SoCal and they are out there supporting the sport. |

No_rice, that is my kinda ridin, lets go, I would love to do the salt flats on the bike. I think I could push her over 120 there, but with the twisties on the mud and dirty country roads, I think 55 is about my max for traction, tires, and well ability (dun run out of talent!) |

A turbo'd XS11??? I had an XS11 Special, full bagger. One of the best Jap bikes I ever owned. Very dependable, plenty of power, handled well. Just had no "personality", so I went back to Harleys and got my 82 FXWG. Then I got the Firebolt and now I'm spoiled. Hurry up, Elves, and get my 1125R built and shipped!! Z |

Not sport bike well, bagger well... It was quite quick too, the frame wasn't much more than a mountain bike's. Z (Message edited by zac4mac on November 03, 2007) |

a 79 xs 1100 with an american turbo pack draw thru style kit. Was running on the street a few yrs back with a water injection kit and 9 lbs of boost. it was quite the screamer. it would only run a mid 10 second quarter because the tire would spin all the way down the track. Top speed was 160 plus. Yes an xs 1100 does handle well for what it is. A close to 30 yr old, heavy, big, motorcycle with even older suspension tech. |
