While reading my PM and SM to get more familiar w/the XB line prior to delivery of my STT, I noticed that the SM has no references to trouble codes and how to access them. Unlike my X-1 manual. I did find a reference to the XB Electrical Diagnostic Manual. Do I still have another manual to buy? Thanx much in advance. Dave |

It's in there. Forgot which page but I think its around 48 or so. Was difficult to find at first and it will explain which terminals to ground out so you can read the codes. |

The manual should have all the related engine diag. info, both my manuals for the Firebolt and the Uly have that info. |

Just checked on it page 4-8 explains which pins to ground out to get codes. 4-13 lists what the codes are and the susequent pages give testing and repair procedures. |

Thanks much to all who have looked. It is appreciated! I have the '08 manual (p/n 99490-08Y) and first noticed that there was not a trouble code section when I looked in the index. Drat! FYI, pg 4-8 in my manual is for TPS install/remove, and pg 4-13 is Bank Angle Sensor info. The quest continues! |
