you can get the updated version from the dealer. It is still a stock item.

If it's backordered, it has nothing to do with the dealers. But hey, convenienly for you the shifter for the X1 (49092-01Y) is showing in stock at Rossmeyers in Ormond.

Thats why they suck, I was there for an hour yesterday waiting on them to get it and they finally just said sorry we can not find it...and that is one of the better experiences I have had there : )
