As I mentioned in a previous thread, it's been real slow this week at work. So I've been doing some research--all on BadWeB. Here is my vote for best read: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/158 664/277763.html?1178937642 Scott Stites's Land Speed Buell Project. Let's keep the commentary down and only post links to other favorite active and inactive threads. Hex |

Here's my pick cause it's the one and only thing I hate about my Buell. A real let-down and I want people who are not aware of the problem to be aware that there IS a problem. I was confident that Buell would rectify this issue but my confidence has now turned into disappointment. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/17/ 258671.html?1190018469 |

My vote is for anything about the Detroit Hooligans photo shoots! Oh, and the ones with the most pics go to the top of the list! |

I have to say my vote goes to a OT thread. Remember Ft_b's watch thread? That thing was like a virus that wouldn't go away. As for Buell related threads, I have to say the current 1125 "questions for Erik" has to be it. Where else are you going to find a company takes the time to answer hundreds of question on an online forum? |

The tire contact patch and also the countersteering/gyro effect threads were classic. A whole bunch of the Tale Section stories/reports are wonderful. Hard to choose any few. |

Thanks Monkey! I really enjoyed that thread as well. Glad to see there are others that enjoy watches as much as I. |

My personal fave, Must be all the mad poems, Thank you Spiderman. Perhaps we should have a "Badweb Poetry Corner" or, as this is a motorcycle forum, "Bad Corner Poetry" There was a young man with a Buell, Who said "I feel such a fool, Too hard on the gas, and I fell on my ass, Now I'm not looking too cool" |

The counter steering thread was at times brilliant. Unfortunately it seems none of you learnt anything from it. I'm still waiting to hear from those of you who claim it's possible to push the inside bar whilst cornering on a 916 Rocket |

Tim, 916 must have been the lowest they're ever going to get in the UK, hitting rock bottom prices this year. I believe the 916 will become the Manx or Gold Star from our generation for the next generation. 916's are getting thinner on the ground than 996's and 998's, and the 916 will become the most collectible in time. There were only approximately 10,000 built between 1993 - 97. Fortunately those remaining, many are still in use, but the numbers have and still are dwindling. If I were you, despite your love of Buells, I'd hold off on the 1125R in favour of a 916, otherwise you'll be hard pushed to afford or even find one in years to come. And let's be fair, an 1125 is not going to reward you anything like a 916 will given the 916's vintage. If nothing else, you should at least ride one until you're familiar enough to give it a good thrashing. Nothing I've ever ridden exhilarates as near or even similar, except maybe the MV1000F4.
