I would think it is the same as a XB12 which is 3/8"-1/2" cold and 1/4"-3/8" hot(normal running temp.). Make sure you check it in multiple places to find the tightest spot. Mine definitely had loose and tight spots. Specifications are for the tightest spots. Hope this helps. |

If you do not have one already make a point of getting the factory shop manual. Makes great reading room fodder.... The printed one- not the stolen crappy PDF'd one on ebay. Best 35.00 or so you may spend. The parts manual is a must as well. Makes getting parts from your local chrome emporium much easier. |

There is a wide opinion that the factory specs are too tight. The consensus seems to be more like 5/8" to 3/4" cold. I adjusted mine to factory spec, and got the dreaded primary "whine". Loosened it up and all was well once again. |
